Cartotecnica Ghio was founded in 1976 on the impulse of Giacomo Ghio, already founder and owner of the namesake box factory in Lumezzane in the province of Brescia since 1948.
Cartons and boxes have therefore been a family tradition spanning 3 generations.
Over the years we have always put the customer at the centre of our project.
It is thanks to our clientele that over this long period of time we have grown and have been able to continue investing in new technologies and infrastructures. We have customers all over Italy and also the rest of Europe in countries such as Germany, France, Austria, and Switzerland.
Our packaging company consists of two production units in the province of Brescia and in the province of Cremona. The Brescia factory is located in Lumezzane and consists of about 2000 m² and the Cremona one, located in Grumello, is about 5000 m² of covered space immersed in a green area of 11,000 m².
The company mission to guarantee products that are beautifully made found its natural expression by obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification which attests to the quality of our manufacturing process.
Our attention to environmental issues has also led us to obtain FSC® certification for the responsible management of forests around the world. This certification guarantees the use of paper and carton from responsible forest management, without indiscriminate exploitation of resources for customers that request it. The certification is to stimulate and sensitise customers and users to choose an environmentally friendly printed product.
Our care for the environment led us to further invest in a 200 kw photovoltaic system in 2010 so that we could cover a good part of our production site's energy needs.
